The piece consists of a play between natural and man-made surfaces. Those parts formed by nature are balanced by surfaces carved by the artist. A channel inside allows water to flow over the piece like a waterfall. Into the face is carved two sets of intersecting concentric rings, derived from the geometry of a stone striking the surface of water.
